Terms of Service
The short version. BookliBookings gives businesses a page and a booking calendar, and lets customers book with them. Publish only your own work, keep it decent and honest, message people only about their appointments, and treat customers and businesses fairly. Content that breaks the rules in section 6 is removed, and accounts that keep breaking them are closed. The full terms below are what applies.
1. Who we are and acceptance
BookliBookings ("Bookli", "we", "us") is an online appointment platform operated from Jerusalem, Israel, at bookli-bookings.com. By creating an account, publishing a business page, or making a booking you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to book as a customer and at least 18 years old to open a business account. If you open a business account on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm you are authorised to bind them to these terms.
2. The service
Customers can find businesses (barbershops, nail studios, spas, beauty and similar services), see their pages and book appointments. Business owners get a public page, a calendar, staff and services management, a client list and, on paid plans, online bookings and automated reminders by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
Bookli provides the tools. We are not a party to the appointment itself, we do not provide the service you book, and we do not employ the businesses or their staff.
3. Accounts
- Give accurate, current contact details. Confirmations, codes and reminders go to them.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done with your account until you tell us it was compromised.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts for other people without their permission.
- A business account may only be used for a business you own or are authorised to manage.
- We may refuse, suspend or close accounts used for abuse, spam, fraud, impersonation or breaches of these terms.
4. Bookings
- A booking is an agreement between the customer and the business. Prices, durations and what is delivered are the business's responsibility.
- Cancel appointments you cannot attend as early as possible. A business may restrict customers with repeated no-shows.
- A business may cancel or move an appointment. Customers are notified by the channels they have given us.
- Appointments whose start time has passed can no longer be cancelled or moved online.
- Any payment for the service itself is made between the customer and the business unless the business page says otherwise. Bookli does not hold that money.
5. Business plans and payment
- New businesses start on the free Showcase plan: a public page with photos, services, hours and contact buttons. Online bookings, management tools and automated messaging require a paid plan.
- Paid plan prices, what each includes and the billing period are shown on the Billing page of your dashboard at the time you subscribe. Prices include VAT where applicable.
- Plans renew for the period you chose unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Periods already used are not refunded.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers (for example PayPal or a bank transfer app). We never see or store card numbers.
- If a payment fails or is reversed, paid features may be switched off until it is settled.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal.
6. Content rules
"Content" means anything you publish through Bookli: photos, cover images, logos, staff photos, posts, texts, prices, service names, links, Instagram embeds and reviews. You keep ownership of your content. You give Bookli a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, resize and distribute it for the purpose of running the service, including showing your page to visitors, in the platform directory and in previews. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups, which expire on their own schedule.
What you may publish
- Photos of your own shop, your own work, your own team (with their consent) and your own products.
- Your real prices, real services, real opening hours and real contact details.
- Posts about your business: news, offers, new services, your work.
What you may not publish
- Sexual or explicit content. Nudity, sexually suggestive images or text, including in "before and after" photos.
- Violence and gore. Graphic injury, blood, weapons presented as threats.
- Hate and harassment. Content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age; bullying, threats or intimidation of any person; incitement.
- Illegal goods or services. Anything unlawful in Israel or in the place where the business operates, including unlicensed medical or cosmetic procedures presented as licensed, drugs, counterfeit goods.
- Misleading content. Fake before-and-after photos, results you did not achieve, fake reviews or ratings, fake credentials or certifications, prices you do not honour, another business's photos presented as your own.
- Content you do not own. Stock photos, photos from other businesses, influencers, celebrities or social media without the right to use them; copyrighted material; trademarks you are not licensed to use.
- Other people's privacy. Photos of clients, staff or minors without their consent (a parent's or guardian's consent for a minor); anyone's phone number, address or personal details other than your own business's.
- Spam and off-topic material. Content unrelated to your business, repetitive posts, links to unrelated sites, affiliate schemes, malware or phishing links, hidden text.
- Political or religious campaigning unrelated to your business, and anything designed to inflame.
- Low-quality or deceptive imagery used as page content: heavily manipulated images presented as real results, images with third-party watermarks, screenshots of other platforms.
Bookli is a place for people to book a haircut, nails or a treatment. If a photo or post would embarrass a customer opening your page in front of their family, it does not belong here.
Photo quality
Your page sits next to other businesses in the directory, and a poor photo lowers the whole street. Photos you publish must be presentable:
- Sharp and well lit. No blurry, dark, grainy or heavily pixelated pictures; no photos taken through a dirty lens or in motion.
- Real and current. The shop as it is today, your own work, your own team. Straight horizons, no heavy filters that change what the place or the result looks like.
- Big enough to look sharp. About 1000 pixels on the long side or more is best. Thumbnail-sized pictures are refused; the dashboard warns when a picture is small, dark or soft.
- Clean. No screenshots, collages, memes, text overlays, logos of other platforms or third-party watermarks.
We may hide a photo that falls short, ask you to replace it, or keep a page out of Discover until its photos are presentable. The free sample photos shown on a new page stand in until you upload your own and are not a substitute for them.
7. Reviews
- A review may be left only after a real, non-cancelled appointment booked through Bookli.
- Reviews must describe your own experience honestly. No paid, traded, fake or self-written reviews, no reviews of competitors, no personal attacks, no private information about staff.
- Businesses may not pressure, bribe or threaten customers over reviews, and may not remove honest ones. We may remove reviews that break these rules and may remove a business's rating entirely if it manipulates reviews.
8. Messaging customers
- Customers agree to receive booking confirmations, codes and appointment reminders by email, SMS or WhatsApp at the details they give us. They can ask a business or Bookli to stop reminders at any time.
- Business owners may use the client list and messaging tools only to contact their own clients about their appointments and their business, in accordance with the Israeli Communications Law (Bezeq and Broadcasts) section 30A ("anti-spam law") and any other law that applies to them. No unsolicited marketing to people who did not agree to it, no messages to numbers you obtained elsewhere, no exporting the client list to other tools for marketing.
- Messages sent through Bookli must not contain content prohibited by section 6.
- We may rate-limit, block or switch off messaging for accounts that misuse it, and we may share sender details with authorities where required by law.
9. Moderation and enforcement
We review content when it is reported, when our checks flag it and at random. If content breaks these terms we may, without prior notice:
- remove or hide the content, a photo, a post or a review;
- hide the whole business page from the public site and directory while we look into it;
- switch off features such as messaging or online bookings;
- suspend or permanently close the account, for serious or repeated breaches, with no refund of the current period;
- keep records of the removed content and of the account as evidence, and pass them to authorities where the law requires it.
Where practical we tell you what was removed and why, and you can reply to that email if you believe we got it wrong. Our decision on what is suitable for the platform is final.
10. Reporting content
Anyone can report a page, photo, post or review. Use the "Report this page" link at the bottom of a business page, or email [email protected] with the page link and what is wrong. For copyright or trademark claims, tell us what work is infringed, where it appears on Bookli, and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. We aim to act on reports within 48 hours.
11. Intellectual property
The Bookli platform, its name, logo, design, page layouts, code and texts belong to Bookli and its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, resell or build a competing service from them. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.
12. Third-party services
Parts of the service rely on third parties: Cloudflare (traffic protection and bot checks), Google (optional sign-in and email delivery), Meta (WhatsApp messages), PayPal and bank transfer apps (payments), and map and address providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability or their decisions.
13. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running, secure and backed up daily, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that reminders will always be delivered, or that a business's content, qualifications or prices are accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bookli is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost bookings, or disputes between customers and businesses. Our total liability to you for any claim in a 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or ₪200 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
Business owners agree to compensate Bookli for claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from their content, their services, their messaging or their breach of these terms, including claims by customers, staff, rights holders or authorities.
15. Termination
You can close your account from your account settings or by contacting us. A business must delete or transfer its business page before its owner account can be deleted. We may close accounts as described in section 9, or with 30 days' notice if we stop offering the service. On termination your public page goes offline; we keep booking and payment records we are required to keep by law.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we give at least 14 days' notice by email or a notice in the dashboard. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Jerusalem have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights that apply where you live. These terms are written in English; any translation is for convenience and the English text governs.
